Prompt, knowledgeable and easily accessible

“We could not be more pleased with the service we received from Jennifer Blake and the Berkshire Group. We met Jennifer when we were beginning our home search in the Douglas County, Colorado, area. Jennifer listened closely to what we were looking for in a home. She then provided a listing of homes that met our criteria.

Jennifer promptly set up showings at numerous homes throughout the county and provided us with insight on the strengths and challenges of the different neighborhoods and subdivisions. We never felt pressured to make a decision or rush into an offer. However, Jennifer was very practical and realistic about the length of time certain homes were likely to remain on the market (predictions which consistently proved to be accurate).

When we narrowed our search to a particular home, Jennifer made herself available to view it, and others in the same area, at a time most real estate agents would have found to be inconvenient. She consistently replied immediately to any e-mails and texts, as well as being available via telephone.

Thanks to Jennifer’s coaching, our offer was accepted even though it was one of several received by the sellers on the same day. Our situation involved a contingency in the sale of our existing residence, and Jennifer was able to successfully convey our genuine commitment to the seller’s agent.

Throughout the ensuing inspection and appraisal process, Jennifer continued to coordinate with the seller’s agent to ensure all the requirements were met in a timely manner. When modest repairs/ modifications were indicated by the inspection, Jennifer facilitated the necessary negotiations with the seller. In addition, she was able to provide us with excellent references for general contractors, etc., to assist with some modifications we wished to make to the home.

Jennifer has a strong knowledge of the area and a wealth of contacts and resources at her disposal. She consistently maintains professionalism throughout the process without sacrificing the needs of her clients, and she is not hesitant to engage in stringent negotiation when the situation calls for it.
